It all started when...
Sarah had always wanted to be in a book club, but she didn't want one that was stuffy or required anything of its members. She just wanted to read good books and get suggestions from other likeminded book lovers.
And so was born the LLWC Book Club!
In September 2016 the first book club meeting took place. Ten brave women showed up to the first book club, and it's been going strong ever since. Focused mainly on fiction, the book club tries to vary it's book selections. The group meets the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. for an informal discussion of the month's chosen book. It is not a requirement to read the entire book (or even to read the book at all), but the meeting opens with a book discussion. The latter half of the meeting includes discussions on other books and about life in general.
Everyone is welcome at book club, and we hope to see you at a meeting soon.

Q&A
When is book club?
Book club is the last Tuesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. Check the Liberty Lake Wine Cellars website for this month's book. If a holiday interferes with the last Tuesday of the month, we'll choose an alternative day. Check the website for updates to the calendar.
Who can attend book club?
Everyone is welcome at book club. However, you must be over 21 to purchase wine.
What types of books do you choose?
Our book club focuses on fiction, although we've read other types (sci-fi, romance, historical, etc...).
Who chooses the books?
Suggestions are always welcome and encouraged. Typically we chose a book that no one has read and sounds interesting. If no one has a suggestion, Sarah typically has a few suggestions to choose from.

Is purchasing wine a requirement?
Although this book club is centered around wine (it's held at a winery, after all) we do not require a wine purchase to attend. The majority of members purchase a glass of wine or two.
